Discover A Gated Little Gem In Stonegate At Forest Hills

Share News:

Built in 2004, this sharp-dressed house is q-q-q-quality. It’s newer construction in the heart of East Dallas. It’s gated. It’s brick with stone accents. And that arched entryway is no joke. What an exceptional little home.

A bit ago I was talking to another agent and she mentioned that you can just tell when Realtors love a house. The enthusiasm is there. The knowledge, the research, the description — it’s just so obvious.

This is one of those homes.

It’s listed with Allie Beth Allman’s Susie Thompson. She used to live in Stonegate at Forest Hills and she loves it. It’s an incredible gated community that hosts holiday get-togethers, Easter egg hunts, and food trucks for crying out loud. So hip, so modern, so now.

There’s a dedicated park within the neighborhood for residents only. It’s the perfect place to picnic or host a birthday party. Even though Thompson doesn’t live there anymore, she said she’s still friends with her neighbors. It’s that kind of place.

Now for the actual houses, Thompson had plenty to say. The home is exceptionally constructed with solid wood doors and real wood flooring throughout.

Everything is top of the line, but also very easy to personalize. If you want to swap out the countertops or backsplash, it’s a cinch.

The three-bedroom, two-and-one-half-bathroom home featured here is all of the above and more. It sits on an oversized lot so there’s a massive backyard with room for a pool and a place to play.

Inside, we’ve covered the solid doors and floors. The kitchen and hallways are tiled so they wear well. The whole house looks brand new. And yes, you could update the backsplash or replace the granite and maybe even paint the cabinets. It’s just hard to when things are in such tremendous shape.

Soaring ceilings in the entry and kitchen give the house an extra open, airy vibe. Arched doorways and nooks add a little flair. Neutral paint and really neutral everything throughout give you the opportunity to really and truly make this one you’re own.

If you’re looking for something solid, near White Rock Lake and 10 minutes from downtown, you can’t go wrong at 2205 Forest Hollow Park.
