Turns out Dirk Nowitzki and his wife are selling that beautiful property he bought on Deloache in the heart of Preston Hollow, at 5906 Deloache Avenue.

It was well known in Dallas real estate circles that the Nowitzkis were planning on rebuilding or remodeling the former estate of the late Dallas billionaire Charles Wyly.

Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki purchased the Wyly estate last October.

Dirk bought the estate last October but popped it back on the market August 7 for $6 million.

The 11,394-square-foot Wyly compound was built in 1939, and interestingly, has only four bedrooms: four WOW bedrooms. In one of my monthly dispatches for Forbes, I unveiled the glories of this traditional property, listed by Faisal Halum at Briggs-Freeman Sotheby’s, and some of the Preston Hollow history behind it.
