Each tour had a different flavor that all architecture and design lovers will enjoy. If you loved modern homes, then White Rock was for you. Love luxury highrises? You had to hit up the Turtle Creek Home Tour. Need an injection of storybook Tudors and traditionals? Nowhere better than Hollywood Heights last weekend.

So, which one did you go to? What house really struck your fancy? And did you make any memories? Comment below!

Honestly I don’t know of a busier weekend! Cassie’s home was in the Hollywood Heights/Santa Monica home tour and I went with her to the party Friday night at the Dallas Arboretum — it was amazing! Great food, great music, and even greater: the people! Apparently Britt Lopez got this all started and I think it is just amazing to see what dedicated, fun, house-loving homeowners can do!

The White Rock Home Tour was excellent. The Mid-century Modern on Avalon designed by E.G. Hamilton who designed North Park Center was a standout. This tour had record attendance and sold out of tickets on Saturday! This is my favorite local tour…no surprise since I am one of the sponsors of this annual tour.

Did the White Rock Home Tour. Hands down, the best house was the Johnston’s house on Avalon. DIVINE MCM from 1954!
