If Executive Editor Joanna England could house hunt forever, she absolutely would. Instead she covers the North Texas housing market and the economy for CandysDirt.com. While she started out with the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, Joanna's work has appeared in The Dallas Morning News as well as several local media outlets. When she's not knitting or hooping, or enjoying White Rock Lake, she's behind the lens of her camera. She lives in East Dallas with her husband, son, and their furry and feathered menagerie.

Honestly I don’t know of a busier weekend! Cassie’s home was in the Hollywood Heights/Santa Monica home tour and I went with her to the party Friday night at the Dallas Arboretum — it was amazing! Great food, great music, and even greater: the people! Apparently Britt Lopez got this all started and I think it is just amazing to see what dedicated, fun, house-loving homeowners can do!

The White Rock Home Tour was excellent. The Mid-century Modern on Avalon designed by E.G. Hamilton who designed North Park Center was a standout. This tour had record attendance and sold out of tickets on Saturday! This is my favorite local tour…no surprise since I am one of the sponsors of this annual tour.
