allie-beth-allman-agentsWe sure are throwing “billion ” around a lot in these here parts — the Dave Perry Miller offices hit one BILLION in sales mid July, Briggs Freeman Sothebys hit one BILLION on July 24. And on August 16, Allie Beth Allman hit the BILLION dollar mark in residential real estate sales made since January. I spoke to ABA’s Duke Jimerson about this last week while touring the Inman Mortgage House of the Week, 8211 Inwood Road, an almost four million dollar jewel listed by Doris Jacobs.

“We did it all from one single office,” Duke told me.

Then I teased Duke that the next level up from a billion is a trillion — go for it!

Soon as Doris sells this house, he said.

The Dallas real estate market is healthy and will continue to be, I hear from the experts, and we are actually pretty lucky to have the solid independent real estate brokerages we have in this town — Allie Beth Allman, Briggs Freeman Sothebys, Dave Perry Miller/Ebby Halliday, Virginia Cook, and the new boutiques coming up: Dallas City Center, Nathan Grace, Rogers Healy, Clay Stapp, all of them. The health of our market may very well correspond to the high level of professional brokerage we have in this town — another plus for Big D!
