If Your Home Looks Anything Like This, I’ve Got $15,000 Big Ones For You! Turn Your Home Into a Bank — Dallas Real Estate News

This is one tenet the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Dallas folks don’t capiche: the rich always get richer. And when you have a big, beautiful home, you can always find ways to make it be the giant piggie bank we always hope it will be.

A major network reality show is seeking a furnished home for one of their star cast members to lease from November to January. That’s three months. The owner must be OK with the show filming on the property while the cast member is leasing the home. Now here’s the sweet spot: the show’s budget is $3,000.00-$5,000.00 per month. They would like a home in Dallas, North Dallas, or Plano.

And these homes are the two “ideals” they are seeking. I’m not saying exact replicas, but you get the picture: a large, new, manicured mansion.

This is the perfect chance for something to bring in some major bucks and take a three month break from Big D. Go spend some time at the ranch. Go check out second home properties for me. Go supervise the lake house you are building at Beacon Hill. Go and collect. The way these things work, you store all your fine art and valuables — jewelry, art, china and silver, give the show the keys, and tell them they are 110% responsible for any nicks or damage. When my friend Chris Phelps gave her house over to the folks shooting a pilot here last summer, she acquired a wooden shed and about $10,000 worth of plants.

Think your house will qualify? Send it to me or to [email protected]

And yes, it will be a movie star staying in the house. And no, you cannot stay with her.
