Monument Realty: Fort Worth Housing Market Ready for Big Boom

Jason Cryer, director of Monument Realty West, thinks Fort Worth real estate is going to climb to new heights.

Real estate is busy in Fort Worth.

So says Jason Cryer who oversees Monument Realty’s west portfolio.

“I think Fort Worth and Tarrant County as a whole are seeing an explosion in 2026,” said Cryer, director of Monument Realty West. “One of the reasons that we want to grow this office more is that we have the ability to make agents find success.”

Cryer, a Realtor with 20 years of experience, five of those with Monument Realty, hosted an open house Thursday at the brokerage’s chic Fort Worth office. Officially, the Fort Worth office is located at 1320 Hemphill St., but it is just steps from trendy Magnolia Avenue, tucked in behind Walloon’s Restaurant and catty corner from Paris Coffee Shop.

The modern office is flooded with natural light from its two-story picture windows, and the white walls with black accents give it that urban loft feel. It’s the triptych depicting longhorns that makes this brand Cowtown, y’all.

The triptych at the Monument Realty West office gives a hint that the office is located in Cowtown.

Four Years in FW

Monument Realty West, a Fort Worth presence for four years, houses 148 Realtors out of this office. In total, the company boasts 800-plus Realtors in not only this office, but its Frisco headquarters at The Star, Prosper, Arlington, Dallas, and Rockwall. Founded in 2017, the company was launched in Collin County by Tiffany and Eddie Burns, two real estate professionals who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Real estate transactions in Tarrant County are picking up, Cryer said. It’s accelerating enough that he’s training new real estate agents to ensure they’re ready to meet what he sees as increasing demand. Fort Worth now ranking as the 11th largest city in the nation could be one of the reasons, but the national spotlight the TV series “Landman” shines on Cowtown could be a factor, too. Cryer laughed that film crews have even shut down the street in front of Monument Realty’s Fort Worth office, and that it’s been all the buzz at nearby Proper, a cocktail bar where the show’s cast and crew have been seen sipping a beverage.
