Assembly Park Adds Office Tenants, Fills Retail as East Plano Redevelopment Continues

Assembly Park, the 26-acre mixed-use development of the former Plano Market Square Mall, is deepening its foothold as a live-work-play hub anchoring East Plano with new office tenants and a fully leased retail section, Triten Real Estate Partners announced recently.

As part of east Plano’s ongoing redevelopment, Assembly Park now features about 180,000 square feet of Class A office space, 305 urban-style apartments and townhomes, and 17,000 square feet of walkable retail and dining clustered around a central park and greenspace, plus amenities such as a dog park (AND dog wash), children’s play areas, and a network of hike-and-bike trails.
Triten recently announced that High Point and Porch Warranty have each signed office leases at Assembly Park, bringing additional daytime population to the broader redevelopment along N. Central Expressway — and positioning itself as both an employment hub and a neighborhood-scale destination.
“From the beginning of this development, our strategy at Assembly Park has been to welcome a diverse mix of tenants,” Scott Arnoldy, founder of Houston-based Triten Real Estate Partners, said in a release. “The addition of these innovative brands reinforces our commitment to supporting unique businesses while elevating Assembly Park as a premier destination in Plano where culture, commerce, and connection intersect.”

High Point, a family-owned Christian travel company founded in 1986, will occupy 11,183 square feet. The company specializes in managing airfare and ground transportation for churches, ministries, camps, conferences, and mission trips worldwide, serving tens of thousands of travelers annually.
Across from High Point, Porch Warranty is leasing an 11,569-square-foot office. The company provides home warranty and protection plans tied to Porch’s nationwide home services marketplace, offering coverage for systems, appliances, and routine home maintenance.

With the two leases executed, Assembly Park still has 135,587 square feet of office space available, including a 13,147-square-foot spec suite, according to leasing materials.
On the retail front, the West Retail portion of the project is now fully occupied with eateries and concepts including Assembly Icehouse, Tacoro Tacos & Tequila and Cliff Coffee, activating the property with culinary options that help sustain daytime and evening foot traffic.
Leasing activity now shifts to the East Retail area, where 9,638 square feet of divisible space remains available, along with 1,888 square feet of patio space.
The Assembly Park transformation reflects a larger trend east of U.S. 75, where redevelopment is turning legacy commercial corridors into walkable, mixed-use districts. By reimagining a former mall into a modern community node that blends office, retail, dining, residential, and programmed public space, the project aligns with Plano’s emphasis on walkability and placemaking along key thoroughfares.
Assembly Park is located at 6200 K Ave. in Plano. Office leasing is handled by CBRE’s Julee Amparo and Tommy Nelson, while retail leasing is represented by Gabi Shaff of Retail Union.
