If Barbie moved to North Texas, we have some ideas on where she can find her dream house.

That Barbie, she’s everywhere and she’s got everything. She’s the “it girl” of the moment. What gal has more, done more, been more than Barbie? Her hair has gone from bubble hairdo to ponytail to long, luscious waves. And that killer wardrobe — she’s always chic and trendy whether it’s that iconic black-and-white swimsuit still being copied today or the array of her signature pink she wears oh-so-well.

Her social life is to die for, too. She’s got handsome Ken on her arm (unless she doesn’t and then when she wants him back, he snaps back into position) and so many good friends to rally at any time for a girls’ night out. There’s Midge, Christie, Teresa, Nikki, Devon, Nia, Daisy, and oh my goodness, so many more. Barbie, after all, is very popular.

That woman has a killer resume, too, because she’s done it all. She’s been an astronaut, a surgeon, a ballerina, a nurse, a pilot, a fashion designer, an Olympic skier, a rock star, a police officer, a Marine, a news anchor, a teacher, and president. Those are just the highlights because Barbie can do anything she wants. She’s absolutely outstanding, with a wardrobe to match.

Now we all know that Barbie’s Dream House is the place to be. Vacationing at Barbie’s Malibu abode can happen for those with the right amount of cash. Partying soaked in pink with Midge on an ocean-front property is a thing. But what if Barbie wanted to take advantage of living in North Texas among us? She could take the Barbie car out for a spin, shop at Highland Park Village, take in a Texas Rangers Baseball game, and visit the Kimbell Art Museum.

We’re making it easy for Barbie to find her North Texas dream house — she can check out these houses being held open this week.

When Barbie decides she’s in the mood for a contemporary house, she might want to consider this six-bedroom, six-bathroom house. Its 6,707 square feet gives her lots of space to host friends for a girls’ trip.

There’s room for three Barbie Dream Cars with this home.

Priced at $4.175 million (not a problem for Barbie to pay for this because of her career trajectory has been excellent), this house puts Barbie in one of the most coveted neighborhoods in all of Big D — Preston Hollow.

This home is designed for Barbie and Ken to enjoy a modern vibe, with sleek lines, cool lighting, and oversized windows. Much of the interiors are finished in gray, which of course, pairs so well with the splashes of pink Barbie will throw throughout.

She’s a busy gal, so the glassed-in home office would be great for those work-from-home days, while the two fireplaces — one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom — add a certain coziness she might want.

Entertaining all her friends will be so great, too. The backlit wet bar features leathered marble countertops, while the game room would be a great place to gather. When she comes to Texas, she’ll want to entertain outdoors. The landscaping with its Japanese Maples is to die for, and the pool’s fountains certainly will make sister Skipper so jealous.

There is lots of shelving to display all Olympic medals, framed recognition certificates, and pink accessories.
Keeping an eye on Ken while working from home would be so easy with this glass-walled office space.
Water fountains make the pool something special.
