The midcentury modern ranch style at 336 N. Manus Dive is already Under Contract. One look at the photos and you’ll understand why.

It has everything going for it. Location for one. It’s in one of the best neighborhoods in Oak Cliff. Dave Perry-Miller’s Melissa O’Brien called Wynnewood North it’s “own little island of green.” She said N. Manus is one of her favorite streets, too. Not just for the coveted series of single-story homes, but also because it overlooks a greenbelt.

This one just happens to be built into the side of a hill, creating a short set of stairs dramatically leading up to the home on the outside and a basement once inside. It’s “perfect for work (or play) at home.”

Built in 1962, North Manus has been completely updated and the current owners added the last piece of this perfect-home puzzle, a pool out back. The dramatic backyard is one of O’Brien’s favorite features.

She calls it out in the write-up, too, by encouraging the next owners to “entertain poolside with the twinkling stars above.” And it is stunning. It’s not often you get to have a sparkling pool with a grand first step and a remaining backyard filled with fresh green grass, a massive patch of low maintenance ivy and enough trees to create just the right mix of shade and sun. Those vary trees help filter the light that shines through an abundance of windows and give the interior a natural glow.

O’Brien said the neighborhood itself can’t be beat. She said it’s filled with pride with every owner meticulously maintaining their front lawn for a cumulative showstopper of a street. They all know each other, too, and look out for one another, support each other and, of course, stop by the Open House for a quick introduction and peek inside.

We know the new owners will be so happy here. How could you not be? You managed to snag an incredible house in an incredible location. And those just don’t come along that often.
