Want to Live in a Hot Oak Cliff Neighborhood? Keep It Cute In Kessler Plaza

Share News:

Kessler Plaza is a hot little neighborhood over in Oak Cliff, but aren’t they all at this point? MAYBE. But yes, they all are.

But this one is extra cute, walkable, we’ve yapped about it before, but the listing is NEW. And it just had a steep price reduction ($30,000!!!).

It’s a little cottage, it’s completely updated, and it’s just so sweet. Open the front door and what lies ahead? AN OPEN CONCEPT. Step into the living room with the original fireplace that they fluffed up and made modern. And they didn’t even paint the brick. Oh hallelujah. Instead, they made a bigger statement by painting the mantle white and surrounding the whole dang thing in stacked stone.

What a fantastic little showpiece.

Those original hardwoods are something — we love that they’re refinished to perfection in a deep, deep brown. They run throughout the main living areas and kitchen with plush carpet under foot in the primary bedroom. There are three bedrooms total and two bathrooms, and this is one of those houses that lives larger than its actual size (1,271 square feet).

The front yard is so well manicured it looks like artificial grass — but it’s not. The perfect little shrubs dot the front of this cute cottage and the stone around those stately trees. It’s almost too good. Some houses just have curb appeal for days and this is one of them.

Out back you’ll stumble into your own private oasis surrounded by a pristine board-on-board fence. The patio is just the right size and if it were me, I’d add a sun sail over top.

There’s a detached single-car garage with a little concrete tire pad leading you home. Even if you use that garage for storage, it’s still a really nice, nice-to-have.

Back inside, let’s just get it out of the way, the kitchen is cozy but so nicely updated. The washer and dryer have their own space off to the side. But if you’re looking for a hip ZIP code, that’s just the way it is.

One extra nice thing about this home? The seller uses the space so efficiently. They figured out the perfect layout. Now all you have to do is add your own touch. Snag a look at this one before it’s too late.
