Plano Collin Creek Home is Renovated and Move-In Ready

Share News:

Just a few days after nearby Collin Creek Mall shuttered permanently for a billion-dollar redevelopment project, this completely updated 1965-built home at 1009 Ridgefield Drive in Plano went on the market for $310,000. Great timing by Keller Williams Arlington agent Phyllis Song because this Dallas North Estates neighborhood should benefit from upscale development coming to this prime location in Plano. PLUS, this house is gorgeous inside!

The three-bedroom, two-bath home, located at Alma Drive across the street from Collin Creek, has 2,084 square feet with a bonus multi-purpose room and attached two-car garage. Inside, a large skylight and wooden ceiling beams in the living area really open up the space that flows from the front door, past the modern fireplace in the living room, dining area, breakfast room, and kitchen.

The kitchen features brand new quartz countertops, white cabinets, a farmhouse sink, and new appliances including range, oven, built-in microwave, and dishwasher.

The one-story home has three bedrooms, including the large master with updated bath that has brand new quartz counters, flooring, modern gray cabinets, and a frameless walk-in shower.

Homes in this area have a median selling price of $315,000. Homeowners in nearby Pittman Creek showed support for the 99-acre redevelopment by Centurion American at a recent council meeting.

The new Collin Creek is slated to include 450,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, as well as a hotel, houses and apartments centered around a 9-acre “Central Park”-like green space. In April, developers announced plans for a Crystal Lagoon, like the one recently announced in Prosper’s Windsong Ranch.

It’s easy to get distracted by all the cool bells and whistles coming to this part of Plano, but this $310k home is pretty deserving of a spotlight all its own.

The landscaping on this home is beautiful. It really sets off the curb appeal and exterior of the home!
