Starwood

Realtors get really excited when they get a listing in Starwood, the gated community in Frisco just north of Lebanon Road and west of the Dallas North Tollway. It’s gorgeous, exclusive, and the homes always shine.

So it was no surprise when Jennifer Menon with William Davis Realty reached out to us last week bursting with excitement about her new about-to-be posted listing at 6000 Hackberry Court — it’s a prime example of the livable elegance you can find in Starwood.

Livable elegance? That’s just fancy talk for “this house is super nice but you also won’t find yourself holding your breath every time your kindergartener wanders through with a popsicle.”

The custom home was built by Kirlin Custom Homes in 1998, and has been renovated since. The 5,763 square foot home has six bedrooms (three up, three down), and five-and-a-half bathrooms, and sits on a quiet cul-de-sac.

“The home has been remodeled in painstaking detail all in a contemporary modern finish,” Menon told us when we pressed her for details. “Two story marble fireplace, waterfall kitchen island, modern light fixtures, layered shades throughout, brand new windows, light and bright wood floors, tons of storage, rare three bedrooms down and three bedrooms up floorplan.”

Additional gorgeous touches include the floating curved staircase, two dramatic gas fireplaces, a pretty kitchen open to the family room, and a four-car garage.

“Two of the bedrooms upstairs have attached sitting areas,” she added. There’s also a spacious media room and game room inside, and a pool, playset and sport court in the backyard.

“The home is special not only because of it’s magazine worthy looks, but also because the homeowner has automated the house with smart technological features throughout,” Menon said.

And, of course, it’s Starwood location is also prime.

“The neighborhood is special as Starwood is a lush green oasis in a rapidly developing area surrounded by the Star, close to shopping and restaurants near Shops of Legacy and Legacy West, Stonebriar Mall, as well as the redevelopment in downtown Frisco focusing on being the new arts of cultural hub of the area,” Menon said. “Starwood offers nature trails, tennis and basketball courts, a neighborhood pool and playground, and is family-friendly with many community events planned throughout the year.”

And the schools — Spears Elementary, Hunt Middle School, and Frisco High — are also highly-rated, she said.
