We love the CityLine development in Richardson, a live-work-dine-play destination that is home to 1,900 luxury apartments, townhomes, and houses. But only one developer is creating single-family residences, and there are only 32 of those. Talk about one-of-a-kind!

Building and sales at the Residences at CityLine from Centre Living Homes are in full swing. The model opened in December and they’ve sold nine homes, completed two spec houses, and started construction on 12 more.

These are really visionary, folks — there are no other projects like the Residences at CityLine in nearby suburbs because this is leading edge. And the houses are gorgeous! Think large, open-planned spaces, private side courtyards, high-end amenities, and clean modern designs. I love them!

“This is an urban, exciting lifestyle where everything is walkable here and you’re near a DART station, the Telecom Corridor, and centered between downtown Dallas and the northern cities” said Trevor Brickman, President of Centre Living Homes. “With everything CityLine has to offer, buyers have a ready-to-love lifestyle just out their doors.”

The Residences at CityLine range in size from 2,700 to 3,500 square feet with three and four bedrooms and a price range of $525K to the high $600s. Let me show you around.

Exterior options for these properties include seven different elevations and many color schemes.

An open floorplan in the common areas creates great flow and an inviting, easy atmosphere for family life or entertaining.

White oak hardwood floors reflect the light from the many oversized windows. And check out that 65-inch fan!

Both floorplan options and their variations focus heavily on good use of space and natural light.

One reason I’m so jazzed about this project is because Centre Living Homes has a track record of creating custom builds in premier neighborhoods around Dallas. You’re probably familiar with some of their work, like Colvin Court in Oak Lawn, Ross Avenue Heights near downtown, Westside Manor near West Highland Park, and Asher Place at Live Oak in East Dallas.

This is their first project that brings their modern aesthetic to a suburb, and of course, it had to be CityLine, a sophisticated city within a city. The sentiment of a ready-to-love lifestyle just outside the house is absolutely accurate. CityLine offer 26 restaurants and growing, elegant design, outdoor plazas, hike-and-bike trails, and high rise and urban activities balanced by easy parking and accessibility.

“This area is a top destination for Fortune 500 companies and a short drive from businesses in Richardson, Plano, and North Dallas,” Brickman said. “These residences are conveniently located within CityLine between Fox Creek Park and Whole Foods Market.”

Now, let’s talk details about these houses. Think custom entry door, white oak hardwood floors, quartz countertops, white Shaker-style cabinets, designer tile treatments, and custom lighting. Behind the scenes: Engineered monolithic slab foundations with 10-year structural warranty, dual paned/low-E insulated glass windows, and 30-year shingle roof with full rain gutter system. And oh, so important for a three-story house: 16-SEER dual-zoned AC.

There are two primary floorplans, Birchwood and Cypress, and lots of variations within each. The exterior options include seven different elevations and a variety of unique color schemes, so white the project has a cohesive look, there is individuality in each home.

In the kitchens, you’ll find KitchenAid stainless steel appliance package that includes a 36-inch gas cooktop, sleek canopy hood, dishwasher with third rack, and convection oven. Depending on which package plan you choose, upgrades can take appliances to commercial style.

Every house has a large private courtyard on the side of the home, breathing air and light on three sides of all the main living areas. Love the expansive 16-by-8 foot bi-parting doors!

Hello, gorgeous! The kitchen aesthetic is clean-lined and appealing. All kitchen plans include quartz countertops on the island and side counters.

Tall, 10-foot ceilings and white cabinets extend the eye upward, creating even more visual height.

A white herringbone tile backsplash is just one of the designer tile options available.

Storage, storage, and more storage! These houses offer an abundance of it, like in the butler’s pantry pictured above.

Heading up to the second story, let’s stop to admire the white oak and iron stairs with white risers. That’s quite a statement. Looking up, it’s like art.

The luxe master bedroom includes a Juliet balcony, seating areas, and fabulous ensuite bath. Walk in there to find a frameless glass shower with decorative tile surround, custom floating Shaker-style cabinetry topped with granite countertops, and a walk-in closet with shoe storage and seasonal rods.

The second level also has a convenient laundry area and a secondary bedroom with its own bath. All secondary baths include white matte cultured marble countertops and designer tile treatments.

A white oak handrail tops the iron posts on the stairs with matching white oak treads. What a sleek look.

Sweet dreams are made of rooms like these, a large master that includes a sitting area and French doors leading out to a balcony.

The master ensuite bath looks like it could be in the pages of a magazine with dual sinks, custom lighting, quartz counters, and a huge frameless glass shower.

On the third story, lots of options depending on the floorplan, like a game room, media room, fourth bedroom, and storage. One of the wonderful possibilities is a rooftop desk with covered patio facing west to catch a perfect sunset.

Even the guest bathrooms feel luxe and contemporary.

Depending on the floorplan and options, the house can include a fourth bedroom, game room, or media room.

The optional rooftop deck is a total delight, with a covered patio.
