college parkAs we’ve begun to look at homes priced $100,000 and under, one thing has remained constant — move-in ready homes in this price range tend to be on the smallish side. This week, we look at a College Park home with more square footage, but the price tag does reflect that.

While it does need a bit of exterior sprucing up, this home at 4224 Leland College Dr. is 1,348 square feet, with three bedrooms and one bath. It also boasts two living areas, which is impressive for the price point – $99,900.
Listed by Denise Hanti at Keller Williams Realty Plano, the home might need a few updates eventually, but the good news is it’s clean, cozy and inviting right now. The kitchen and the bath are tile, but the rest of the house has neutral, clean carpet, and the appliances look to be fairly new as well.

And while yes, this College Park abode only has one bathroom, it’s a decent enough size, and includes dual sinks, which means two people can still get ready and out the door at the same time.

The backyard is huge — although in desperate need of some love — which means that eventually you could even create a master suite addition.

The home has also been well maintained, and Hanti says it includes a new roof that was replaced last November. Given that it’s been on the market for 49 days, it might be ripe for some dealmaking, too.
