I am loving Provident’s brand new development at the corner of Walnut Hill lane and Central called Preston Hollow Village, even if it is trying to look like NorthPark mall’s baby sister.
And yes, I know we will hear in the comments that this is NOT Preston Hollow. No, this is not Preston Hollow for the purists, but it is Preston Hollow for the stretchies. Like Gumby, whenever a neighborhood gets popular you just want to stretch the boundaries.
Speaking of stretching the boundaries, Blue Sushi Sake Grill is the second restaurant/eatery to open in PHV. Last Saturday, folks flooded Vertskabop for their yummy, signature panini sandwiches.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill brings Dallas tastebuds all across the sea to Japan, serving sushi with an American attitude. Blue aims to transcend the ordinary sushi experience with its own twist on traditional sushi, a creative mix of cold and hot plates and an exciting and colorful atmosphere.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill is famous for its Happy Hour, offering a large selection of discounted food and drink Monday-Saturday, 3-6:30 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 10:30 p.m.-midnight and Sunday, noon to 6:00 p.m. Blue also offers weekday sushi lunch specials, a gluten-free menu, and a large drink menu, which includes premium cold sake, signature martinis and cocktails, wine, fish bowls, beer and hot tea.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill sources its fish from the best seafood purveyors in the world, and receives it fresh several days a week. The location at Preston Hollow Village is Blue’s second Texas location.
Flagship Restaurant Group also operates Roja Mexican Grill, Blatt Beer & Table and Plank Seafood Provisions in Nebraska. Lunch, anybody?
