6520 Northaven ext gatesRecall the house that had us all ducking for cover in Preston Hollow a few weeks ago? That was because police helicopters were bop bop bopping overhead as the FBI raided 6520 Northaven Road on August 6. It WAS (but is no longer) the home of Tanya and Jeremy Wiggains, he the owner of a high-end, Internet-based car dealership that recently shut its doors because of bankruptcy and more: Straight Line Automotive. The company filed for bankruptcy in mid-July, said NBC 5, who also said some of the folks they called on the creditor’s list (former Cowboy Martellus Bennett and current Cowboy Orlando Scandrick) claim they bought fancy cars months ago but have yet to receive title. That sentiment seems to run on the internet as well. The list of creditors detailed in Wiggains’ bankruptcy filing is three pages long and includes banks, car dealerships, auto detailers, audio companies and more.

Now Eric Nicholson over at the Dallas Observer tells us what Park Place Motorcars, LTD and Park Place RB , LTD sued over: dozens of stolen luxury cars:

“In a lawsuit contesting the bankruptcy filing, the company says Wiggains was part of a conspiracy that siphoned off millions of dollars in cash and dozens of high-end cars from the local luxury-car empire.”

We are talking Park Place, so we are talking cars from Volvos at the low end to Maseratis at the high end, some of which retail for upwards of $300K. Almost like Wiggains’ own  2012 Ferrari 458 Italia, valued at $240,000, which he had to part with in the bankruptcy.Ferrari458Italia-thumb-565x290

By the way, I hear Maserati is coming out with a car for under $50,000.

6520 Northaven, which once housed Daryl and Diane Johnston, was listed and sold by Marsha Finney of Ebby Halliday.  It  has 7364 square feet, five bedrooms, five and a half baths, four car garage, game room, wine tasting room, media room, playroom, pool & pool house, 4 car garage, safe room. The lake features a fountain and waterfall. Original asking back in June was $3,999,000, priced reduced to $3,700,000.6520 Northaven rear

The Wiggains seem to be doing just fine. Jeremy and his business partners deny the charges against them, and both Jeremy and Tanya (beautiful girl) appear to be going full speed ahead on the Dallas social circuit. This photo appeared in a blog run by Elves.

Of course, that’s what is so great about the Dallas society set: no one really cares HOW you got your money, as long as you have it and give SWEETLY, from the heart.
