Remember this beautiful baby? Hip pocket at $9,995,000 and oh how we love her. Huge kudos to the dynamic real estate team of the Carroll/Eltis Group over at Allie Beth Allman… and check their website for even more hip pocket fun.
This place is fantastic. I've always wanted a peek inside! Worth every single penny!
I'm hoping this is a Civic Center or Hospital or perhaps a museum.

Oh Roy, no, this is Dallas. It's a private home! There are some amazing places here.

Roy, I can see your point, its all about scale.
As beautiful a piece of architecture as you can find. But as a residence, the interior is very cold. It doesn't have a sense of *home*. Roy's comment about a Civic Center is right on the spot.
It is cold, and I wouldn't choose it over a pre-WWII house, but it's funny- I've rather fallen in love with contemporary architecture after years of being pretty much blind to its appeal, and I think that's partly because of all those "traditional" McMansion monstrosities that have gone up since the 90s. If I were given a forced choice between one of those and this house, this house would win in a landslide.
