Saturday/Sunday Six Hundred: Tailor-Made for Trader Joe’s Management

Trader Joes is moving to Big D, opening at the old Arcadia Theater in the fall,  and we couldn’t be happier. So happy, in fact, that we’re house hunting for their management! We’ve found the perfect place so close our TJ pals can bike to work! (They can fire up the Prius in July/August!) Joe Atkins has this custom two-story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath stunner listed at the QUIET end of (5934) Belmont for only $614,900! Built in 2003, it has hardwood floors, a game room, and something every Trader Joe’s type needs if he’s going to have one — a saltwater pool! There’s also  a dog run and a closet the size of my Hollywood Heights dining room!

The home is spacious and the kitchen flows beautifully into the back yard, as if the two were integrated. Perfect house for entertaining! Pop open some of that TJ Shiraz at $2.99 a bottle or my fave $5 buck Spiral Wines Cab Sauvignon and enjoy a glass while relaxing in the pool’s hot tub! You’ll stock the stainless fridge with sunflower seed butter (yum), two buck chuck, frozen mac and cheese and of course, Soy Creamery cherry chocolate chip ice cream. Then stuff those gorgeous ebony cabinets full of triple ginger snaps, flattened bananas and dark chocolate covered pretzels. See, we TJ Groupies know what to buy even though the  place is not yet built out. (My grocery list has been ready for months.) But I digress. The master bedroom is huge, and overlooks the back yard. The master bathroom is even bigger and I’ve already mentioned the “live in” closet.

This is a serious contender for anyone who wants to be close to — say, WALKABLE — to Greenville Avenue. But not THAT close. It’s ten minutes from White Rock Lake in one direction, ten from town in the other. This stretch of Belmont is a true family affair with kids, joggers and dog walkers. So if you’re working for Trader Joes, or just a Trader Joe’s devotee, call Joe and sneak a peek at 5934 Belmont!

This house is an absolute stunner! The best part is the 200 foot deep oversized lot it sits on that allows you to have an outdoor patio, pool and spa, detached 2 car garage, dog run, grassy area, and enough parking for 3 more cars. With Trader Joes coming just a few blocks away and the rezoning of lowest Greenville, you don't want to miss out on this home!

Location is everything and this seems to be in the perfect spot! This is such a beautiful home and the backyard looks like the perfect place to entertain friends and family! As most women would agree, I was sold at "live in closet"!
