Friday Four Hundred: You Can Live in the Heart of Oak Lawn, Have Your Own Pool, Parking, and Privacy!

Share News:

Now this one ought to make your heart quiver! Empty nester or young singles who do not want to mess with nosy neighbors right over-the-wall or those pesky Home Owners Associations meetings will find this home as close as you get to true single family living in the heart of Oak Lawn. And even better: there is a private swimming pool! And a patio! You get 2407 square feet of formals, three bedrooms, three and one half baths, all on one floor. (Wait, maybe I should stop right here — this may be the perfect downsizer for US!)

The yard is lush with that heated swimming pool, bluestone patios, and an exterior dining area with a fireplace and chandelier. Inside,  soaring ceilings, hardwood and slate floors, plantation shutters, three fireplaces, integrated sound speakers, great lighting for art. Take a look at the kitchen that rivals any Preston Hollow or Frisco McManse: Carrera marble, and stainless steel appliances. I cannot believe this: downstairs master bedroom even  has a sitting area, marble bathroom, and French doors that open to the pool area. I could care less about the vine-draped custom entry gate, but I do love all that covered and off-street parking for several cars, though I think here everyone will be walking and toning their tushies: just minutes from some of Dallas’ best dining and shopping, the Katy Trail, Highland Park Village, and Turtle Creek. The address again? 4126 Gilbert. Amazing.
