Dallas-based PMB Capital Investments announced last week that it is planning a 1,000-home residential development called River Ridge at the intersection of Farm Road 741 and State Highway 175 in Kaufman County southeast of Dallas.
The Lucas Farm now is the site of Solterra, the city’s largest development in the southern district. Developer Huffines Communities joined with Mesquite city leaders in breaking ground on the 1,530-acre project last week.
Anna is the latest community to join the lagoon craze. Already, Forney, West Dallas, and Weston have detailed plans with Megatel Homes to build a residential community around these manmade sandy amenities.
