At a time when most Millennial potential home buyers have been priced out of the market, upscale mixed-use developments like the new Presidium Frisco Square are providing Dallasites the amenities they most desire. The new residential community of 368 apartments — covering 337,000 square feet in North Frisco — is slated to open in June 2023.

Dallas-based real estate development firm Presidium broke ground on Nov. 1 on the development at 5750 Cotton Gin Road in Frisco, according to a company news release.

“Presidium Frisco Square will add even greater value to the area’s existing infrastructure and offer residents the ability to live, work and play seamlessly in a true mixed-use development,” John Griggs, co-CEO and co-founder of Presidium, said in the release.

Griggs said that the community will have “high-end amenities chosen for modern living,” such as a club room, golf simulator, theater room, fitness center and a co-working lounge with podcast rooms (Yes, that’s a thing.) Outdoor amenities include a rooftop terrace overlooking a pool and three courtyards with outdoor kitchens.

Apartment homes will feature keyless entry, thermostats with built-in Alexa capabilities, smart light switches, and energy-efficient appliances.

The apartments will also include a dog spa and park. More information is available at www.presidiumre.com.
