Word comes that Dallas has lost the GOP Convention in 2016 to Cleveland, Ohio. The reasons are that Ohio is a swing state, and apparently Dallas could not accommodate the GOP’s preferred June, 2016 start date. Seems we have too many other things going on at American Airlines Center, like the the NBA and NHL playoffs.…
Seriously, some boomerang kids are probably better off with roommates instead of trying to move back in with their parents. Sure, not paying rent and having your mom fold your laundry sounds good at first, but some might chafe under the house rules. In this case, that’s an understatement.

This year’s Architecture360 is sure to attract a wide audience this year, thanks to AIA Dallas and Dallas Center for Architecture‘s hard work. The organizations have sought out the coolest and most interesting behind-the-scenes locations for their “Place-A-Day series,” which includes a tour of a new spot inside the city with a never-before-seen perspective.
