According to one of my favorite real estate websites, Trulia, Dallas ranks No. 8 among the nation’s most “gay-friendly” cities, speaking of real estate. And, the top 10 list of these gay-friendly neighborhoods in each city also happen to coincide with the pricest markets and neighborhoods in those cities. In otherwords, Trulia is just verifying something we already know: want your real estate to appreciate in value? Follow the Gayborhood!
I was reading an article on DallasNews.com earlier today when I saw one of those teasers on the sidebar that said, “Check out this Plano mega-mansion featured on TNT’s reboot of ‘Dallas’.”
I had to click, of course, if not only because I am infatuated with the new “Dallas” cast, but I wanted to see if they had some cool photos outside of the ones you saw with your own eyes right here on CandysDirt.com.
Perhaps you have procrastinated, like I have a tendency to do. Maybe you haven’t decided where to take the family for a fun-filled vacation, and it’s mid June. May I suggest Cinnamon Shore, Mustang Island’s seaside village, located in Port Aransas on Texas’s Coastal Bend? It’s not that far from Big D and offers a whole schedule of summer events planned to make vacationing in paradise even sweeter. Plus who knows: you might like it so much you decide to buy a second home there.
