As Eclectic as Johnny Depp, This Arapaho Heights Home Was Built for Boho Chic

Sometimes it’s stunning to see how homes take certain styles and run with them. Just like Billie Eilish in streetwear or Jackie O with her elegance, some homes are born to bear a distinct look. While listings can lean into everything from Midcentury Modern to minimalism, the ones with true character don’t conform to style — they help create it.
If you’re wondering what this looks like, we just found a grade-A example in Richardson’s Arapaho Heights. It’s not often that we find a standout boho-chic beauty, but this one merits a closer look.
Built in 1961, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,309-square-foot gem sets an eclectic impression even from the curb. Framed by ornate landscaping and mature trees, the home itself serves as the perfect centerpiece. A classic brick façade with teal accents evokes a style that’s essentially all its own.

Then, as soon as you step inside, the interior evokes an artisan tone. If it were in a movie, Johnny Depp would be playing the lead. Obviously, the owner takes a ton of the credit here, but foundational elements make it so conducive to this style. Warm hardwoods, antique fixtures, and curated finishes welcome the whimsical aesthetic with open arms.
From the main living room to the dining room and everywhere in between, the experience feels like an Anthropologie catalogue.

At the heart of the home, a chef’s kitchen blends form and function. There’s a KitchenAid five-burner gas range, honed stone countertops, and a peninsula with counter seating, open to the family and connecting to communal spaces like the game room.

The primary suite is a private escape imagined with more of this exceptional style. Here, multiple windows draw in the peaceful suburban surroundings.

The ensuite bathroom adds elements of luxury with a soaking tub, large shower, double vanity, walk-in closet, and a private balcony overlooking the backyard.

With more than 3,000 square feet, this home is ultra accommodating. An additional primary suite, two bedrooms, and a flexible bonus room provide endless potential for a plethora of arrangements.

This Arapaho Heights home offers an outdoor oasis that could star in an episode of MTV Cribs. With a 2020 linear saltwater pool, multiple patios, lounging spaces, and lushly landscaped gardens beneath a canopy of mature trees, this space feels more private retreat than suburban backyard.
Finally, the detached oversized two-car garage includes a climate-controlled workspace ideal for a studio or workshop.

What did the great Johnny Depp have to do with it?
It made you read the article, like I did
Haha. He’s too busy with Plan de la Tour on de Cote de Azur in the Mediterranean.
Is the eclectic in the room with us? I was ready to see some unique interior shots. The home is lovely but not anywhere near eclectic.
that’s what I’m saying
What a masterpiece you have there. I really like the Roman brick and at over 3000 square foot, thats nothing to sneeze at you’ll have plenty of space. I saw stairs in one of the photos. Is there a 2nd floor also because it looks like a single floor?
Wow this surprised me,The pink and red gives the place a feminine look , I thought he would use more cool colors like hunter green or medium green, brown & wine colors that would replace the pink and red colors.
These colors would give the home a beautiful man cave look.
The room is very eclectic but more boho than eclectic. More boho.
I like the layout of the home and the trees and pool but the furniture….though the colors were fun was stupid looking and very uncomfortable.
This is such a beautiful home.. I always dream of such a Home..but things always got in the way.. but now I’ll never get that close,, but who says you can’t still Dream..
