This Savvy Agent Has Some Art Sales You Can’t Resist

Lynda Piepgras is the kind of agent who always thinks outside the box for her clients.

“We get in there, we arrange and sell what we can, then we haul the rest to donations. And on Monday, the cleaning crew arrives. The house is listed Tuesday morning!” Lynda told me.
It may not be that fast with Bill Bibb’s art collection, though. For more than 40 years, Bibb, a well-known landscape architect in Dallas and owner of Archiverde | Landscape Architecture, has been collecting art professionally and for his own pleasure. Like most collectors, however, his collection has outgrown his space. I personally previewed his art: amazing and very high quality.
This is not just any regular collection. Bill has a knack for style and design. Framed and unframed, there will be more than 400 treasures for sale, featuring an eclectic mix of work by notable artists as well as many decorative pieces.
If you’re an art collector or simply looking for something special for a certain spot in your home, you will definitely find this sale to be a nice break from all the intimidating and often overpriced galleries out there.
Lynda and Bill are throwing a private reception showcasing the collection this Thursday (call 214-228-7318 for more information), but a three-day public sale will follow in Dallas on September 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and September 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The location of the public sale will go live at the link above on Thursday morning after 9 a.m.
In keeping with Lynda and Bill’s commitment to the community, 10% of all art sales will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
