Every once in a while a home comes along that is worthy of praise. The design and architecture are so different and done so well that the house just jumps out and the only appropriate response is “Wow!”
Two years ago, I wrote about such a home located in Florida. I dubbed it the George Jetson boyhood home. It was round, and looked futuristic but in a classic way. It was a “Wow!” worthy home. Well, let me tell you, if that Florida home was George’s boyhood home then I have found his bachelor pad before he met Jane, his wife. Let me tell you, ‘ol Georgie boy did pretty, pretty well with the ladies in this house.
Wait until you see this masterpiece.

The Domestead spans three levels of free-flowing spaces. Located at 2538 Sundown Drive, Los Angeles, California, it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,797 square feet.
Built into a Los Angeles hillside, this iconic home was designed by architect William King. The owners are asking $2.3 million for this beauty. What makes this home worthy of George Jetson is that each level of the house has its very own uniqueness.

This level of the Domestead has a kitchen, dining, and living room. The views from the kitchen and dining area are exquisite and the dining room table is on a track system so you can move it easily and change your view. That is some futuristic, George Jetson thinking.

The living room could not be more comfortable if it tried. As for the bedrooms, one is downstairs and one is upstairs.

You would never know that this room is downstairs and carved into a mountainside.

As for the little unique touch for this room, check out the portal.

Yeah baby, how cool is that? So what if you have to go through a portal. I want to go to there.

This is how you do a bedroom in a dome home in California.

One word: Wow!
The car George Jetson drives will not surprise you.

Old school Corvette, baby! There is no other car that can attract the ladies and prepare George Jetson for driving a spaceship.
