Commerce on The Turtle Creek Corridor: Why Dallas Real Estate is the Hottest Topic in Town

Share News:

We may disagree about a lot these days: politics, leaders over age 80, gun control, working from home, diet, what we teach kids in school, how to potty train a child, sleep sacks versus bumper guards, fasting, saving/spending/giving away money, housing options, and TAXES!

But there is one thing we can all agree on pretty universally: Dallas real estate is hot and getting hotter!

I watched the spike in values in California and Arizona real estate before 2006 and I waxed with envy: why could we not enjoy the same equity spikes as our friends out west? After 2007, I shut my mouth as Arizona real estate sank into the commode. If Dallas real estate is not spiking, it’s because she takes a slow, steady climb up the hill and she never goes back down.

So that’s what I’m going to talk about at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Arlington Hall on Turtle Creek. The good folks at the Turtle Creek Conservancy even pushed the time ahead by 30 minutes because they know how much I hate to get up early. (I’m writing this at 1 a.m. and the night is young!)

So come on down, grab some breakfast, do some networking, then settle back and listen to the dirt.
