When the owners of the North Dallas estate at 6204 Georgian Ct. made renovations in 2004 and 2018 to their six-bedroom, 10,638-square-foot home, they may have set new standards in ensuring the quality of the construction.

For each project, the owners interviewed as many as five contractors. Once their contractor was selected, the owner paid 20 percent above the bid, guaranteeing the quality of the work was far superior in every detail.
