Rosa Collins: A New Face for The American Dream TV Show

You might see a familiar face on local television Sunday morning as Rosa Collins, Realtor with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, is set to make her debut as one of the North Texas hosts for The American Dream TV show.

With its presence in 40 cities and growing, The American Dream TV is a nationally recognized program that focuses on the positive and inspiring aspects of the real estate industry. The show aims to “educate, empower, and engage viewers in pursuing their personal American dreams.” With its presence on major cable networks, digital platforms, and a robust social media following, The American Dream TV reaches millions of viewers every month. The Emmy-nominated production team recently won five Telly Awards.

Collin’s successful career as a real estate agent, plus her background in modeling and acting, made her an ideal fit for this new hosting role, bringing a Frisco real estate perspective to the show. Collins joins the roster of North Texas’ most in-the-know lifestyle experts from Dallas and surrounding cities, ready to captivate viewers with her charm and expertise.

“To be honest, I don’t know who recommended me for this role but I’m grateful and excited for the challenge,” Collins says.

No matter how she landed on the producer’s radar, Collins performed well in a series of interviews conducted by Craig Sewing, creator of The American Dream TV and she emerged as one of the hand-picked hosts from a pool of 38 potential candidates in North Texas. Among the new hosts, she joins prominent Realtors from Flower Mound, McKinney, Arlington, and Plano. This diverse group of hosts, which are said to represent the top 1 percent of agents, brings fresh perspectives and energy to the show.

Debut Episode: Exploring the World of Architectural Stone

Rosa Collins’ first show, airing this Sunday morning, promises an exciting feature about a venerable “go-to” in stone. Tune in at 10:30 a.m. on the local channel KDAF-CW33, or find the series on Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV.

In her June episode, she interviews Mark Johnson, a fourth-generation stone mason and the president of Architectural Stone. From supplying stone for iconic hotels like the Dallas Omni, Stoneleigh P, Anatole, and Ritz Carlton to commercial projects like Granite Park in Plano, Architectural Stone has left an indelible mark on the Dallas skyline and North Texas at large.

“I think his story is so interesting and his accomplishments are impressive,” Collins says.

Looking ahead to July, Rosa Collins is gearing up to interview Donny Churchman, the president of Nack Development, who is spearheading the revitalization of Frisco’s Rail District. Exciting plans for the emerging part of old downtown will be unveiled during this episode.

“Churchman is doing some wonderful things for the Frisco Rail District that we’ll talk about,” Collins says.

A Multifaceted Background

A collection of print ads from department stores, retail catalogs, fashion shoots, and lifestyle modeling for magazines. Rosa Collins’s modeling career has encompassed print, television, and movies. Now she adds lifestyle correspondent to that list.

Before embarking on her real estate career, Collins enjoyed a successful stint in the modeling industry throughout her 20s. Today, she continues to be represented by the esteemed Campbell Agency. In her 30s, Rosa transitioned into the world of acting, auditioning for various roles and even landing parts in local commercials and movies like Universal Soldier 2.

Nowadays, she’s comfortable in front of the camera, often filming luxury home tours with a walk-through commentary. Her diverse experiences in modeling, acting, and now real estate have shaped her into a dynamic host who effortlessly connects with audiences. And though she’s never done any real broadcasting like this, you wouldn’t know it.

“I’m looking forward to interviewing and showcasing more interesting people’s stories,” Collins said. “The American Dream TV is an exciting challenge for me.”
