This East Dallas Contemporary by New Leaf Custom Homes Is Just Perfect

Every time Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s Jeremy Whiteker has a new listing he says, “You guys, help me welcome my new listing to the market!” There’s a lot of enthusiasm in every home he represents and this one has me adding an extra exclamation mark.

It’s a 2014 build by CandysDirt.com Best Builder New Leaf Custom Homes construction set on almost half an acre. There’s a creek to the east and an undeveloped lot to the south. (One of the other homes purchased the lot for privacy.) That means this house gets the benefit of additional privacy minus owning a bonus lot.

Back in 2014, Whiteker helped his clients purchase this home. There were six lots to chose from and they readily called dibs on this one.

Since then, they’ve added the most gorgeous infinity pool and spa, and incredible landscaping. Clint Horticulture, a high-end landscaping company, created and implemented the design. The landscaping adds to the privacy and creates what Whiteker calls a year-round retreat, thanks in large part to the modern decking and heated pool. It’s basically an entertainer’s paradise and with all those trees I can only imagine a Snow White level of woodland creatures there.

For all the detail that went into the exterior, the same meticulous thought went into the interior as well. This is one of those houses that’s like dang, can we just buy it as is?!? Every stick of designer furniture and every piece of art was made for this space.

Don’t get me started on that stunning wallpaper which I’m told conveys. I’m kidding. It’s attached to the wall – you know the rules!!! Do you see how perfectly the mid-flight bird wallpaper peeks into the downstairs living area?!? Detail on detail on detail.

With the primary bedroom downstairs plus one additional guest room, it’s the most effortless layout. The rooms are generous, the floors are polished concrete, the window casings are the most modern black, plus you’re in East Dallas. What more can you really ask for?

I guess you could ask for a built-in stereo system and the most delicate matte brass pendant lights in the kitchen. And you know what? You’d get it. Because this house HAS IT ALL.

Whiteker has 1439 Oates Drive listed for $925,000.
