Three Super Bowl Touchdown-Dance-Worthy Open Houses Near Patrick Mahomes’ Westlake Estate

2008 Nighthawk Court

The Tarrant County suburb of Westlake is the place to be for football royalty ahead of the Super Bowl. Just ask Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who owns a home in the area valued at about $5.5 million.

Herschel Walker may have failed at his bid for the Georgia Senate, but he, too, is a winner when it comes to real estate. Walker’s Vaquero estate, also in Westlake, is valued at about $3 million.

Former Dallas Cowboys Assistant Coach Sean Payton reportedly bought a Vaquero home in 2011.

Grab your popcorn and prepare to gather around the big screen for Sunday’s game. We tracked down some Super Bowl-worthy mansions in Westlake for this edition of CandysDirt.com Open Houses of the Week

Nighthawk Court

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom French country abode at 2008 Nighthawk Court was made for champions.

You really can’t go wrong with a gated Vaquero estate on a 0.72-acre lot. The $3.5 million home was built in 2004 and recently remodeled.

Guests will jump at a Super Bowl Sunday invite to this cul-de-sac home with mature trees and lush landscaping.

The massive great room features dual 12-foot sliding doors that open to a spacious screened patio.

Prepare all the Super Bowl snacks on a marble center island with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Barstool seating in the kitchen guarantees space for an overflow crowd.

If weather permits, guests can catch the game — and the Rihanna halftime show — on the outdoor patio with electric screens, built-in heaters, an outdoor kitchen, and a drop-down television overlooking the pool. A side patio boasts stringed lights and a stone fire pit.

The property is currently being leased, but interested buyers can contact Realtor Jeff Watson with Compass for a private showing.

Cypress Way

The $6.85 million luxury listing at 1726 Cypress Way is pretty spectacular, but not too pristine for chicken wings on a Super Bowl Sunday.

There are six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a three-car garage. The Quail Hollow Estates home blends architecturally-acclaimed design with the simple life of a backyard pond and native trees.

Spread across almost 9,000 square feet on a 1.35-acre lot, this Westlake spot is perfect for a Super Bowl gathering. The contemporary chef’s kitchen features a large waterfall island, premier Thermador appliances, and a separate caterer’s kitchen.

Guests can gather in the family room with a view outside through Pella oversized glass and metal doors. Enjoy a breath of fresh air in the abundant backyard with waterfront views, an outdoor kitchen, and lush landscaping.

And after cheering the favorite team to victory, the owners can retreat to the master suite and enjoy the exotic fireplace and luxurious ensuite bath featuring a Victoria & Albert Amalfi limestone free-standing tub.

Granada Trail

There’s no better place to watch the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles than a Westlake castle.

The $3.3 million home at 2018 Granada Trail has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a four-car garage.

They go big in this gated Granada community. This dwelling spans 5,761 square feet and was the “personal home of an established interior designer,” according to the listing. That means you can count on stunning and timeless finishes and selections.

The great room has double sliding doors that open to an outdoor oasis of amazing views. A chef’s kitchen has a huge island and a high-end appliance package for prepping those Super Bowl party trays.

The first floor of the home boasts a theater room for Super Bowl guests.

A wine cellar, two offices, and a formal living room complete the lower level. The victory dance can continue outdoors, where party-goers can watch the game and enjoy snacks by the pool from the outdoor kitchen.

The primary suite features custom paint and a spa-like bath with a freestanding tub and separate shower. Try not to lose your mind over the heated towel bar. That would have been nice during the Thundersleet Icepocalypse

Floating stairs lead to two bedrooms with ensuite baths and a large game area.
