Live or Landlord in This Centrally Located Richardson Two-Story

Richardson Two-Story

This cute little home is in the heart of Richardson, right by the University of Texas at Dallas, which means it’s a great first home or a great rental property.

The kitchen has been updated and most of the windows, too. I don’t know why but I get vacation home vibes from the layout. Maybe that’s a selling point. Live like you’re on vacation in this 1,840-square-foot home!

The yard is impressive and given the freaking drought we all endured this summer, shockingly green.

Getting Real in Richardson

Love a side entrance to a home. Gives it a little something extra and the landscaping adds a nice little layer of privacy. With two floors and the bedrooms split, that’s just two more reasons it’s ideal for roommates or multi-generational families. Have your own floor! Live mostly separate lives and only meet on the stairs when it’s necessary! Two living rooms, too. I’m telling you, the ideal setup list just keeps going and going.

Want to know more about this area? OK.

It’s in a neighborhood that’s officially called Addition Village 02. Spare no expense on the naming, Richardson. But aside from that, solid gold. It feeds into Prairie Creek Elementary so if you are a family moving it, you’ll be pleased to know that’s a sought-after school.

The location is close enough to North Central Expressway that getting down to Dallas or up to McKinney is a breeze.

Shops and restaurants near there are aplenty. Let’s talk about II Creeks with spas and sweets shops and Shady’s burgers. Or head west a bit and hit up Tongue in Cheek, arguably the best ice cream on Earth, newcomer Sueño for killer Mexican food, or keep going a bit and hit Hillcrest Village where you’ll discover, what’s that? A very recently added Cane Rosso and Haute Sweet, two East Dallas staples. Plus a place called Kids Empire where your small children can go bananas while you take advantage of free WiFi and a security gate so you can shop online with peace of mind knowing they can’t escape.

Funny how you can start with a house and wind up exploring the city, huh? We’re not even done yet though. There’s also an amazing shaded trail situation with waterfalls at a place called Prairie Creek Park … just like the name of the elementary. Well, looky there, we came full circle.

Citiwide Properties’ Chi Ngoc Ly has 413 Bedford Drive listed for $375,000.
