Crescent Communities celebrated the official grand opening of its newest multifamily community in Dallas, NOVEL Turtle Creek, on Sept. 27. The 20-floor high-rise apartment community located in the iconic Turtle Creek and Oak Lawn area of Dallas features 206 luxury residences and has quickly surpassed the 50 percent leasing milestone.

The grand opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local live music and food and beverage offerings. In lieu of guest gifts, Crescent Communities donated to the Turtle Creek Nature Conservancy to continue beautifying the neighborhood.

“We are so excited to celebrate the grand opening of NOVEL Turtle Creek,” said Meaghan Kroener Janson, Director of Development for the Texas region of Crescent Communities’ multifamily business. “We are honored to have the opportunity to bring a new community to such a lovely and cherished area of Dallas. We’ve been so welcomed by the neighborhood, and its level of finishes and luxury have truly been embraced. There has been an enormous amount of interest in the community we’ve developed, and we were honored to welcome guests and residents alike to the grand opening. Our timing coincides nicely with the news that NOVEL Turtle Creek has newly been awarded a Fitwel Rating, a healthy building certification, to add to our NGBS (National Green Building Standard) certification for sustainable buildings.”

Located just off the intersection of Irving Avenue and Oak Lawn Avenue, one block north of Blackburn St. and approximately one-half mile south of Highland Park, the community is within walking distance of Turtle Creek Village and The Shops of Highland Park, which offer an array of upscale shopping and dining. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the community is only a five-minute walk to Turtle Creek Park and the Katy Trail.

In April, NOVEL Turtle Creek was named a finalist for Dallas Business Journal’s ‘Best Real Estate Deals’ Award in the Urban Multifamily category. The awards highlight the stakeholders and dealmakers of the most noteworthy commercial real estate projects in Dallas-Fort Worth.

NOVEL Turtle Creek offers spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences with private balconies and unobstructed views of Dallas and the Park Cities. High-end finishes and amenities include real hardwood floors, gas appliances, wine refrigerators, Latch electronic key systems, and Nest thermostats. Penthouse residences, located on the top two floors, feature expansive terraces, upgraded appliances, and additional unique features such as wet bars, full dining room spaces, and wall ovens.

In addition to traditional amenities, NOVEL Turtle Creek features 24-hour concierge services and onsite pet facilities. The fifth floor of the building is dedicated to resident amenities and includes a luxuriously landscaped outdoor deck with a swimming pool, numerous seating areas, outdoor kitchens, and sweeping views of Turtle Creek and downtown skylines. Designed to be an urban oasis, the outdoor offerings are reminiscent of a luxurious residential backyard. Indoor amenities include a comprehensive fitness center, resident lounge, and two guest suites for visiting family and friends.

In keeping with the luxury design and vision for NOVEL Turtle Creek, Crescent Communities hand-selected a best-in-class design team that includes WDG Architecture (project architect), 505 Design (experiential consultant), TBG Partners (landscape architect), and Vignette Interior Design. Rogers-O’Brien Construction is the General Contractor on the project.
