Rogers Healy’s Beverly Drive Home for Sale and for $8M More, You Can Purchase Lot Next Door, Too

How often do two neighboring properties come available for sale at the same time? Not very often, right? Now, how about two properties on one of Highland Park’s most exclusive streets — Beverly Drive. Rogers Healy must be a magicman because he put together this deal that could be once-in-a-lifetime.

Healy has listed this 5,479-square-foot French Colonial on Beverly Drive, his own home, for $8 million and is offering the cleared lot next door for an additional $8 million. But this is no ordinary home.

Before the prominent CEO and owner of Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate purchased the 1916 estate, it was owned by another prominent Dallas family with real estate ties. The first family of real estate, really — the Millers of Henry S. Miller Company, one of the largest independent commercial real estate firms in Texas. For 50 years, the Highland Park four-bedroom was the center of business dealings, charity event planning, and busy family life. That means this home has heart, and should you consider picking up renovations where Rogers and his wife Abby left off, it’ll be a home project well worth its while. But we’re going to come back to that.

In case you’re looking to build your own dream home from the ground up, the charismatic broker partnered with the owner of 3809 Beverly next door to offer a two-for-one deal on the two properties — a deal that Beverly Drive hasn’t seen in quite some time, Healy says.

“This is your true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy not just any kind of land, but land in the bullseye of Old Highland Park,” Healy says.

The combined lots offer 140 feet of frontage, close to 0.8 acres, on the most prestigious block of one of Dallas’ most iconic streets. That’s a lot of superlatives, and well-deserved.

Here’s a look at the survey for the cleared lot next door

The home is just two blocks from the Dallas Country Club entrance on Beverly and walking distance to Armstrong Elementary, Highland Park Village, and more.

When Healy purchased the home in 2018, he set out to renovate the majestic home. He tackled large updates like the aging electrical, plumbing, and HVAC units and updated the home with new countertops, floors throughout, paint, and landscaping.

Healy updated the dark wooden walls and ceilings of the oversized living room in favor of crisp white molding and architectural accents.

He and Abby also rolled back the backyard a few decades by removing the pool and surrounding concrete, and adding a grassy lawn and mosquito mist system. Healy bought the home with his future wife and child in mind, and well, kids need plush soft grass. Dogs, too and Healy loves his as well.

But the best-laid plans are just that, plans. The winter freeze last year burst the pipes and many of his updates were practically undone. With wife and child in tow, Healy is ready to hand the keys to the castle over to the next owner of this Beverly estate.

If you believe homes have souls, this home has real estate in its bones.

Rogers Healy of Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate has listed 3815 Beverly Drive and 3809 Beverly Drive for $16 million.
