High-Rise Living is The Rage, And The Ritz Lifestyle Has Never Been So Relevant

What’s not to love about the lifestyle at the Residences at The Ritz-Carlton?

High-rise living has taken off in Dallas, and I think it’s due to the enormous influx of people who are adamant about urban living. This has made locals take notice, ask questions, and realize this is a lovely way to live!

For Those Who Can’t Live Without a Concierge

Our East Coast newcomers in particular cannot imagine life without a concierge and amenities at hand. Once you’ve tried the high-rise lifestyle, believe me, you are not going back to a single-family residence because a hassle-free life and a lot of pampering is the name of the game today.

“The Ritz lifestyle offers so many advantages you will never want to live anyplace else,“ Dave Perry-Miller listing agent Tricia Weiner said. “You’ll be spoiled beyond your wildest dreams with all the services that the Ritz offers, from the 24/7 on-call concierge to the spa and the perks of ordering food from the hotel via room service. There are more luxury amenities than you can imagine.”

A Perfect High-Rise Location

And, of course, you cannot beat the Ritz for location. Downtown Dallas has become a hotspot for the arts, entertainment, and activities with the Arts District, Klyde Warren Park, and some of the best restaurants in Texas.

There is also easy access to major highways and both airports.

What do you think is the best thing about the Ritz lifestyle other than the amenities? Well, how about those views? This particular Ritz condo is on the 14th floor, and the expansive views are sensational.

And what’s the best thing about our featured condo? Everything has been done!

In our present world of supply chain chaos, you can move into a completely renovated 2,589-square-foot home with a sophisticated Savant smart home system for music, shades, and lights.

A Truly Custom Ritz Lifestyle

When the present owner purchased this condo, she ripped out everything and began with a blank canvas to create a truly custom home. Thank goodness for that, because seriously, who has time to wait on general contractors and subs in this market? Move-in ready is essential today.

We are all actually cooking again, so the chef’s kitchen is a big win. There are quartz countertops, open shelving, a commercial-grade Wolf range with a convection oven, a warming drawer, and my personal fave, a carbonated water dispenser. Au revoir San Pellegrino!

The owner chose to use one of the two bedrooms as an additional living space and selected the most beautiful finish-out for the two full bathrooms and the powder bath.

What really catches your eye in this RItz condo is the design. The owner has worked with her interior designer, Gary Owens, for years and on multiple residences, so he is uniquely suited to interpret the Ritz-Carlton lifestyle she wanted.

“We’ve been working together at least 17 years,” Owens said. “We are in sync, and there is a massive level of trust that has been built over the years. We made some custom pieces for this home like the walnut sofa table and the big entry bench and, of course, repurposed existing pieces from a previous home. A Knoll table, which served as a dining table in a former home, became a desk here. The art drives a room, and in the dining room, especially, that artwork sets the tone. She has an excellent art collection and wonderful African and midcentury pieces. Mixing elements is what gives a home true texture and character.”

Ritz isn’t downtown. If you’re doing to be a real estate writer you should get the neighborhood geography right.

Hi Alex. Karen doesn’t say that the building is located downtown. She says that downtown Dallas has become a hotspot, and most people look at the Uptown/Downtown area as quite connected. If you look at our ample coverage on the Ritz Residences, you’ll find that we’re quite aware of where the building is located.
