If You Like to Entertain And Impress, Check Out This Fort Worth Midcentury

I love a real estate agent with a point of view and Trusted Results Realty’s Desi Dusina has one for sure. He has such a very clear description of who this very unique mid-century modern in Fort Worth’s Ridglea is for.

It’s for entertainers, people that always provide the place to gather. It’s for empty nesters that have kids home for the holidays. It’s for a young couple that wants to make a big statement. It’s for anyone that likes to make an impression.

There’s a split layout and the heart of the home is the kitchen…which used to be the den. And the old kitchen is now a bar. It’s one of three bars in the house actually. Like Dusina said, this is a hosting home.

The kitchen is top of the line. A total chef’s kitchen because it was designed by an actual chef. One that trained the chefs at McCormick & Schmidt’s. The microwave is the size of a dishwasher, the refrigerator is about the biggest you’ll see in a residential home and all the appliances are restaurant grade.

There’s a second dishwasher located in the big bar off the kitchen and then the other two sub-bars are located on, what Dusina describes as, the adult wing of the house. Dusina said this house has more storage than any house he’s ever sold, and the Primary bedroom is so big, you can roller skate in it.

He’s not kidding either. In the primary bedroom, there’s currently a king bed, massive desk, and a table that seats eight. YES. Plus a sliding glass door that opens to one of two courtyards. And the primary bathroom? Forget about it. There’s a Roman shower and bathtub combo as well as top-of-the-line plumbing throughout the house. That’s an odd fact to throw in, right? Not really, in a 1957-constructed house, updated plumbing is like solid gold…made of PVC pipe.

Okay, let’s pause and take stock…one mega kitchen, one great room, three bars, two courtyards, storage out the yang, a Roman shower + tub AND there’s a separate guest house. That’s right. A SEPARATE GUEST HOUSE that’s attached to the main house, but only accessible from the outside. The backyard is also very, very big (I’m running out of ways to say huge) and could be a killer garden.

Phewf. So…yeah. This home has a lot to offer for the right buyer or buyers. Italian Marble, too. Dusina also said this would be a cool corporate house for a company that’s on the lookout for an asset.

Dusina has 4901 Westridge Avenue listed for $685,000. It has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and it’s 3,574 square feet.
