The hits just keep coming.

Word comes today that the 2021 Lakewood Home Festival, the biggest fundraiser for the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA, will now be viewed strictly from the curb:

The LECPTA considers the safety and health of our members, community, and kids an utmost priority. Given the uncertainty around future COVID numbers, the 45th Annual Lakewood Home Festival will now feature a street-view home tour.

On Saturday, November 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the street-view tour will feature activations outside the six highlighted Lakewood homes, each promoting social distancing, community partners, and a good time. Local eats and artisans plus games and activities for kids and adults are just a few of the attractions that will be featured.

The 2021 Lakewood Home Festival Auction Party “LAKEWOODSTOCK” will remain an in-person event. The party will be held on Friday, November 12 at 7 p.m. at an outdoor venue, Marie Gabrielle Restaurant & Gardens, located in the Harwood District.

It was just July 4 weekend when LECPTA announced that the Lakewood Home Festival tour would return as an in-person event. Here’s hoping that more people start wearing masks and get vaccinated so we can enjoy the Hollywood Home Tour and next spring’s events the good, old-fashioned way — donning booties and skulking through someone else’s beautiful home.

If you’re still planning to attend, you can purchase tickets to the Lakewood Home Festival street-view home tour or the “LAKEWOODSTOCK” Lakewood Home Festival Auction Party, check out their website.
