Brand New East Kessler Castle On The Hill Ready For Renters

Social distancing should be no problem at all in a six-bedroom, five-and-one-half bathroom mansion in East Kessler.

Social distancing should be no problem at all in a six-bedroom, five-and-one-half bathroom mansion in East Kessler.

The home at 733 Evergreen Hills Drive has an open layout across almost 6,000 square feet and sits on a quarter-acre lot.

The Contemporary/Modern home was built last year by Adrian Cole’s firm, 419 Builders, but it seems plenty of foreshadowing occurred for the time we’d need to spend quarantining in 2020.

“[The] property includes a four-car garage, a three-level elevator, and a sweeping backyard,” said Broker Jeff Dean with 1 Source DFW Realty, who is leasing the home for $9,000 per month.

It also has two master suites on different floors – how’s that for a quarantine dream? Plus, there are four living areas and an additional study.

The kitchen features built-in Dacor appliances, a gas range, and see-through fireplace, Dean said.

“Stunning, grand treetop views can be had on any one of the balconies and through the expansive windows in every room,” he added.

The house is wired for audio, video, and automation features.

Rent Rates Continue Slight Increase

Priced at $2.2 million and available for rent at $9,000 per month, this East Kessler home – one of many gems in the area – almost makes the criteria for a luxury lease. And while a recent report from Apartmentlist.com shows that rents in Dallas are on the rise, they’re talking about one- and two-bedroom multi-family units.

“Over the past year, rent increases have been occurring not just in the city of Dallas, but across the entire metro,” Rob Warnock of Apartmentlist.com said in an email. “Of the largest 10 cities that we have data for in the Dallas metro, all of them have seen prices rise.”

Why not get more bang for your buck and rent a place you can call home for the whole family – even the kids who returned home from college when classes became virtual?

Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Dallas’ East Kessler Park boasts historic homes and, in the case of the Evergreen Hills abode, new construction.

Students are zoned for the Dallas ISD campuses Rosemont Elementary, Greiner Middle School, and Sunset High School. And while it doesn’t look like the kiddos will be doing on-site schooling anytime soon, there also are several private academies nearby, including The Kessler School

These uncertain times of COVID-19 in the real estate world are far from over, but we will again return to “normal” (whatever that is), and when that happens, it’s best to be in a home you love.
