Begin Your Homeowner Journey with This Mesquite Starter Home

Affordable, move-in ready homes are difficult to find in this market where wages aren’t keeping up with high home prices but there are still affordable homes to buy if you know where to look. The folks at Inwood National Bank pointed us to this Mesquite starter home as their recommended Home of the Week, which fits the (very affordable) bill.

The 1979-built home at 4300 Mesaview Drive in Mesquite is a one-story brick home situated on a quarter-acre corner lot with a very nice $121 price per square foot. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,573-square foot home features a large, open floor plan with some of the larger expenditures taken care of: brand new HVAC, windows, fresh paint, and stainless steel appliances.

There are two dining areas with a large bonus space that could be turned into a walk-in pantry. The master suite features a walk-in closet and full bathroom.

The backyard has an extended covered patio, lots of grass with some trees and a Tuff shed for storage. It’s located in the Meadowdale neighborhood of Mesquite, near Belt Line Road and E. Town East Blvd. Easy commuter access near I-30 and 635 means you can get just about anywhere in the Metroplex fast.

Mesaview is zoned for Mesquite schools, including Beasley Elementary, Kimbrough Middle School, and Poteet High School.

4300 Mesaview is listed for $190,000 by Bobbie Jo Glover with Compass Re Texas.

Wow. I might have to move out there. That is a beautiful house. Is there any carpet in the house?
