It might just be a temporary home, but for a brief time, renters can enjoy this spacious four-bedroom French-style estate on 1.3 acres in Parker.

“The layout is the best I’ve ever seen,” says listing agent Matthew Fraser with Fraser Realty Group.

The home on Rolling Knolls Drive, built by Alford Custom Homes, is only available for a short-term rental – six to nine months – but what an amazing few months that could be.

With four bedrooms and four and one-half baths, there’s plenty of room for the whole family, plus pets are allowed.

A renter could certainly get used to the hardwood floors and triple stack crown, travertine, and granite bathrooms.

The downstairs features a guest suite with full bath and huge closets. And nobody puts Baby – or the upstairs – in a corner. Hop up those stairs to enjoy your game room and media room with two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

What’s For Dinner?

While the listing agent touts the home’s kitchen as a chef’s dream, there are options if the head cook needs a night off.

The area in this Collin County town east of Plano is known for an eclectic mix of cuisine, including Japanese fusion, Italian, and Vietnamese, all within a four-mile radius. Trendy and fun options for teens and young adults also abound. Smoothie spots, an international grocery, Bobaland bubble tea, and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar dot the landscape.

But back to that dream kitchen – there’s two commercial-grade gas ranges, ample counter space, and a wine cellar.

Allen ISD

Although the home has a Parker address, students are zoned for the highly-rated Allen school district. With an enrollment of 21,000 and growing, the area is known for its sports and a $60 million football stadium. It was built in 2012 and later deemed unsafe, prompting $10 million in repairs paid for by the builder and architect. The stadium reopened in 2015.

The district earned an overall A rating from Txschools.gov, with A’s in student achievement and school progress, and a high B (89 out of 100) in closing the gaps.

Bolin Elementary School picked up a B overall, with an A in student achievement and C’s in school progress and closing the gaps. A grades were earned across the board at W.E. Pete Ford Middle School. Allen High School earned an overall A, with an A in student achievement and B’s in school progress and closing the gaps.

Listing agent Matthew Fraser with Fraser Realty Group is leasing 4203 Rolling Knolls Drive, Parker, for $4,500 per month.
