Pitch-Perfect North Texas Open Houses For Your Weekend Planning

Share News:

North TexasJust yesterday we noticed something — our usual slow summer just wasn’t happening. The market here in North Texas is still moving quickly.

If you’re a Realtor, you may be wondering how your listing will stand out among the sea of open houses and other listings. Fortunately, we have some answers, and one of them is super simple — pitch us!

We have a great Facebook group, Getting the Dirt, that offers Realtors the opportunity to share their new listings and such with not only the staff of CandysDirt.com, but also fellow Realtors. We also love it when you tag us on your Instagram posts about your listings — as some of you can already attest, we frequently end up connecting you with a writer.

And of course, if you’re really wanting to pull out all the stops, there are always advertising opportunities, too.

This week’s CandysDirt.com Open Houses of the Week were pitched by Realtors through social media. Which one will you check out?

McKinney Stunner in a Gated Community

Open house: Sunday, July 28, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Located at 4428 Lake Breeze Drive, this McKinney home in a gated enclave is thoughtfully designed and elegantly appointed. The two-story, four-bedroom, four-bath home sits on an acre, and faces north.

Hand-scraped hardwoods, coffered ceilings, and gorgeous trim details enhance the extremely functional layout — each bedroom has its own en-suite, and wide door frames and a half-tread staircase make it easy to move around the home.

Outside, there’s an outdoor living area and plenty of room to install a pool.

Priced at $879,000, it’s listed by Heather Anderson with Davidson Lane Real Estate.

Rowlett Two-Story on a Corner Lot

Open house: Sunday, July 28, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This Mariner Park home in Rowlett provides huge bang for the buck — not only is it near Lake Ray Hubbard, shopping, restaurants and more, but it’s also 2,437 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths.

This two-story at 5218 Griffins Point Drive boasts a first-floor master with an en-suite that has everything you are probably looking for — dual sinks, separate shower, garden tub, walk-in closet with a window for natural light, and more.

An open concept kitchen with granite counters, a granite window seat, and stainless steel appliances becomes the heart of the main floor, which also boasts two dining areas.

Priced at $284,000, it’s listed by The Kocher Team with Keller Williams Realty.

North Dallas Remodel Fresh to the Market

Open house: Saturday, July 27, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Maria Rincon with Keller Williams Realty Dallas Preston Road tagged us on this brand new listing via Instagram.

Located at 6626 Town Bluff Drive,  this home’s location would be enough to garner it at least a visit this weekend — it’s walkable to Hillcrest Village Shopping Center, which is currently undergoing a major redevelopment that is promised to include upscale dining, retail, and a 1.5-acre city park.

But the home itself is also gorgeous, making that two reasons why someone needs to go check this house out. Hardwoods, six-inch baseboards, modern light fixtures, and transitional paint were part of a remodel. The kitchen saw a substantial remodel with quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, and a large island that opens to the living and dining area.

The master en-suite goes full spa with dual shower heads and a frameless shower, perfect for finding your zen at the end of a workday or establishing your go at the beginning of one.

The four-bedroom, two-bath home is priced at $389,000.
