Merion at Midtown Park Green Home Near SoPac Large on Amenities

GreenIt’s a theme week here at CandysDirt — and this week, we’re looking at “green” homes in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day.

You might see a home that has environmentally-friendly features, or you might see, you know, an actual green house. But today, we’re going to show you this gorgeous new construction in the Merion at Midtown Park, a gated community off of Walnut Hill and North Central Expressway that is close to just about anything you could want.

And, in keeping with our theme, it’s LEED certified, and it’s also close to the DART rail station, which means you can give Mother Nature a break occasionally and cool it with the fossil fuels by hopping the train to work or play with minimal fuss.

Add in the community’s proximity to the master-planned seven-mile SoPac trail system, that 14-minute train ride downtown, and that four-mile bike ride to White Rock Lake, and you can get just about anywhere without having to take the car out.

Built by Coventry Homes, this two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home at 8341 Nunley Lane was finished in January, and is built to feel even more spacious than the 2,290 square feet it boasts would lead you to believe.

An open floor plan features wood flooring to help bounce all that natural light around, and 21-foot and 10-foot ceilings throughout the home.

A kitchen becomes the heart of the home with its large island, KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, and beautiful finishes. It overlooks a dining room and family room, meaning the cook in the family is never excluded from the action.

Also downstairs, a flex room can provide another living area or an enclosed office.

The master suite is generously-sized and offers a large master en-suite with his and her vanities, a large walk-in closet, and a covered balcony with a golf course view.

A second bedroom, also upstairs, also boasts an en-suite and smaller balcony.

The Merion at Midtown Park home is listed for $559,067 by Ben Caballero of HomesUSA.com. Want to check it out in person? Tours are available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
