Talk about move-in ready! We’ve found a stylish, reimagined Northwest Dallas home where even the furniture is for sale. You could buy this baby and be totally set up for a new life in a great neighborhood.

Our Thursday Three Hundred at 3764 Davila Dr. has been renovated from the ground up with an open floorplan, sleek finishes, and big spaces. This home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bath, and 2,030 square feet on two stories, built in 1951.

Situated near West Northwest Highway and Midway Road, this Midway Hollow house has cute curb appeal, and it will get a lot cuter as that new landscaping fills out. The house used to be brick; now it has gray siding, a cedar post on the front porch, new windows, and a new front door. The grass is patchy and could use some help — it’s an issue I’m a little surprised the flippers didn’t take on. But it is cosmetic and pretty easily remedied.

This house has seen some substantial changes, including totally opening up the floorplan, a big buyer “want” we hear about often. With the staging, it really flows beautifully, enhanced by the natural light. The floors are laminate, which may be a ding in the mind of potential buyers. Again, a little surprised by this choice, given that the house is almost $400K. Most people will probably expect real hardwoods at that price point, in my opinion. But in fairness, they look pretty good and might not be an issue at all.

The large living and dining rooms are open to the updated kitchen, which, with the bathrooms, will probably sell this house. It is huge! Features include Shaker-style white cabinets, quartz countertops, a contemporary glass tile backsplash, an island and breakfast bar, pendant lights, recessed lights, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and built-in microwave.

Moving on back to the bedrooms, laminate floors extend there and the master is unexpectedly large. Its bathroom: to die for with an oversized frameless glass shower, Shaker-style white cabinets, quartz countertops, and beautiful tile floors. The effect is enchanting. But that’s not all: there’s also a modern clawfoot tub by the window. The second bathroom surprises with another clawfoot soaking tub. How great.

The backyard is good-sized, but could use some work — like the front yard, the grass is sad and patchy and the space will turn into a mud pit at every rain. But it is a blank slate for the next owners and there are mature trees as an anchor.

This Midway Hollow home was listed June 4 by Aaron Jistel with ListingSpark for $399,000

They tore down the garage?? You can see it in the Before pic…
Would have been nice to see some sort of a deck along the back, perhaps spanning the width of the house to connect the two back doors.
The new owner has a bit of work to do outside!

Why didn’t they save that brick from the front for landscaping? The yard is tough because those trees are shading so nicely. Will be really interesting to see how quickly this one sells!
