The gorgeous transitional home at 6836 Casa Loma Ave. is walking distance to Lakewood Country Club, built in 2014 as a custom by Keen Homes. COLORFUL M-STREETS TUDOR WITH GUEST HOUSE AND POOL

Open house: Saturday, June 9, 12-2 p.m.

We love a good Tudor and the C-Streets house at 5914 Monticello Ave. doesn’t disappoint. It is renovated and full of charms with a guest house and swimming pool, too. It has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, one half bath, three living areas, and 3,710 square feet on two stories, built in 1931.

The house has hardwoods, arched doorways, built-ins, and original details. The formal dining area is open to the living room, which has a fireplace. There’s also a den overlooking the backyard. The kitchen offers white glass-front cabinets, a farmhouse sink, quartz and granite countertops, an island, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas cooktop and double ovens. The bedrooms are large, particularly the master, which offers a sitting area and upscale bath with dual sinks, garden tub, separate shower, and walk-in closet. In back, find a swimming pool, deck, mature trees, privacy fence, and two-car garage.

This home was listed May 29 by Cyndi Schrob with Redfin Corporation for $830,000.

WYNNEWOOD NORTH MIDCENTURY ON OVERSIZED LOT, REDUCED $61K

Open house: Sunday, June 10, 2-4 p.m.

Head to Oak Cliff’s Wynnewood North neighborhood for the house at 716 Mayrant Dr., a midcentury on an oversized lot. This home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, two dining areas, and 1,922 square feet on one story, built in 1954.

In this house, enjoy an open floorplan and generously sized rooms with ample storage, including a large master walk-in. The kitchen is not updated, but the footprint is large, open to the second living area and offering views of the large backyard. Original hardwood floors can be found under the majority of the carpet. The master bathroom has been beautifully updated with marble countertops, crisp white subway tile, and a walk-in shower.

This home was listed May 31 by Crystal Gonzalez with David Griffin & Co. Realtors for $460K, reduced to $399,000.
