The Preston at Preston Hollow Village Is, Hands Down, the Most Luxurious Apartment House in Dallas

The Preston at Preston Hollow Village Residential is now open and move-in ready! With apartment homes ranging from 650-2500 square feet, The Preston depicts its own unique identity and amenities. Whether you are selling your family home for a smaller place in town, not to mention getting away from high property taxes, you are going to love this upscale home in the heart of Preston Hollow Village.

Did I say apartment? As in rent? As in no worries ever about outside maintenance, yard, bushes, pool chlorine levels, leaves in the gutters, paint, clogged commodes and kitchen sinks, parking your own car, and even lightbulbs: they change them for you! Hot damn!

The Preston is an apartment I would move to in a heartbeat — maybe sooner — because it has EVERYTHING!  (Keep reading to find out how you can get a preview of this property on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.!)

First of all: location, location, LOCATION! The northwest corner of Walnut Hill and Central first housed tony apartments that eventually became Class C, were torn down, and then the land sat idle during the Great Recession. Because I am old and I remember when the Class Cs were more like Bs, I knew the area had great potential: ponds and green space, but mostly that dynamic intersection. To me, quality of life is how quickly I can get to work or my grand-daughters out of my glorious home, and then get home again. And that intersection is solid gold for getting anywhere.

Plus now, you have a true mixed-use community anchored by Trader Joes and ModernMarket, Pakpao Thai, Blue Sushi Saki Grill, Cinco Tacos, Frost Gelato, Matchbox Kitchen, and Blatt Beer & Table. That’s just the food offerings now. The six-phase master-planned community encompasses upscale shopping and dining, and will ultimately have six upscale residential neighborhoods featuring more than 1,300 homes. Preston Hollow Village complements the modern, on-the-move lifestyles of its residents: you and me. Everyone can walk to chic restaurants, a neighborhood grocery store, superior shopping and services and, in the near future, a three-acre park. There is even a Walgreens Community Pharmacy and a Frost Bank.

Walk into the very sophisticated lobby and notice something new: this is an apartment house with a valet. The building is sited in the heart of PHV, adjacent to a future three acre park which is currently under design. Some units even have views of downtown Dallas!

“We kept every comfort of home and luxury, every amenity that research told us discriminating home owners would want, particularly coming out of their own luxury home,” says Jerry Jackson, Vice President of Development. “Only we took way 100% of the maintenance!”

The Preston is a luxury living experience designed to create a strong community to enjoy all its bells and whistles.

Bells and whistles there are: besides concierge services and complimentary valet, there is a wine tasting room that rivals this one,  with private conditioned wine storage for tenants. (This way you won’t worry when you go out of town that the fridge will go out and turn that case of 2005 Chateau Margaux to vinegar.) To complement your fine wine, there is a private, bookable dining room and full catering kitchen that rivals this one. There is a fitness room that looks just like Cooper Aerobics Center: bosus, weights, yoga mats, high tech running and bicycling machines (sorry, Peloton, don’t need you here). Work-out classes, check. The developers clearly did not say, just toss a couple treadmills in an empty room. Details were carefully researched and planned. There’s the huge heated pool with wet deck, and a sunning deck.

And since we’re all freezing, there are several fire pits across the deck for the months like now when we are not surviving 100 degree temps.

Clearly, the developers have thought of EVERYTHING when it comes to amenities, borrowing the best ideas from luxury buildings across the landscape. My favorite: rentable guest suites off the pool deck for your guests that come with full kitchenettes. My second favorite: roomy balconies and huge, leafy palms.

Then there is the quality of the unit homes themselves: granite counters, hardwood flooring, wine refrigerators, built-in sound speakers system with bluetooth connections. Beautiful finish-outs.

Oh and go ahead, scream at your spouse: these units have enhanced sound proofing between units and floors.

Now for the pièce de résistance: the master. Each one has separate his-and-her walk-in closets with oodles of storage. The master spa bath is designed for two (or three) and get this: car wash shower, deck tubs!

Private parking garage, check. Come home, park your car, be done with it.

So blown away am I by this place, I wanted you to get a sneak peak. From 4 to 6 p.m. this Thursday, January 18, come grab a drink and check out The Preston! Complimentary valet located at 7775 Firefall Way, Dallas, TX 75230.

This could also be great for relocating professionals who want to park it somewhere while they research different neighborhoods. Any word on pricing?
