Ebby Halliday's Little White House Welcomes John Murray to the Team | CandysDirt.com

Ebby Halliday’s Little White House has assembled one of the best real estate teams in North Texas. They’ve added to their prestige with Realtor John Murray, who recently came on board.

Murray, who founded another Dallas brokerage in 2001 and was a partner, made the decision to divest his interest there and come on board at Ebby. That decision was multifaceted, Murray says, and a lot of it rested on his experience with the Ebby team.

“Ebby has stellar leadership — for example, I’ve worked with Keith [Newman] for many years in the business and I’ve always appreciated his integrity and knowledge of the industry,” Murray said. “It’s a pleasure and honor to be a part of the Ebby Little White House team now.”

“I am delighted to welcome John to Ebby Halliday Realtors, and to the Little White House office,” said Keith Newman, manager of Ebby’s Little White House. “His reputation, ethics, and knowledge of the market are a perfect fit for our office and firm.”

Murray is a third-generation Realtor, so the business is in his blood.

“Real estate is a natural fit for me, the sales and meeting new people, and it’s in my family,” he said. “You never know who’s going to walk through the door at an open house and I like that.”

He’s been a licensed Realtor since 1999, and it was great from the start, when an open house and wandering guest led to great business.

“With one of my first listings, I held an open house and I wound up selling the house to one of the visitors,” Murray said.  “That led to seven more transactions with connected people and we became best friends, I sold his mothers house, and inherited his mother’s dog Buford the bassett hound.”

Congratulations, John!

And he’s a genuinely good guy. A win-win for both parties.
