Just east of Love Field Airport, you’ll find the petite beauty that is our Tuesday Two Hundred at 4731 Linnet Ln. With just over 1,000 square feet, it’s a smaller footprint, but recent renovations have packed a lot of function and style into that space, located near Lemmon Avenue and West Mockingbird Lane.

This home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,014 square feet on one story, built in 1947.

Mount Vernon Heights is located south of Bluffview, west of Greenway Parks, and close to the Park Cities. So finding an affordable house here puts you right in the middle of some fabulous neighborhoods and close to Inwood Village.

This house’s curb appeal is on point, with new Hardie Board siding, new low-E windows, cedar posts and shutters, and a mature magnolia tree. The new landscaping is teeny tiny, but will grow with time and care.

The big renovations touched every corner of this property, from a new HVAC system and roof to an open floorplan and recessed LED lights throughout. Those are original refinished hardwoods, by the way. Lovely.

The kitchen saw some huge changes, now offering granite countertops, a breakfast bar, marble tile floors, and stainless steel appliances. Nearby is a separate laundry-mud room.

Both bathrooms are fresh and modern bathrooms with marble vanities and marble tile floors, as well as crisp Shaker-style cabinets. Both bedrooms have those same beautiful hardwood floors.

The back is a bit of a blank slate, but has a new wood fence and a new wood deck with a pergola, as well as mature trees.

This Mount Vernon Heights home was listed Aug. 29 by Jim Costello with Costello & Realtors, Inc. for $299,900.

This is adorable! I love what they did in the bathrooms, and the barn door to the master bath is a huge space saver. They packed a lot into this cottage!
