Guys, we have a surprise for you, our loyal readers. I found out yesterday that for today’s ticket giveaway for the Hollywood Home Tour this weekend we have— get this — FIVE PAIRS OF TICKETS!
I am just beside myself because this is just one of my absolute favorite home tours, and this year the Hollywood Santa Monica Neighborhood Association is doing it up big for their 25th anniversary. I mean, they have some really cute homes, including Kelly and Tom Hoffmann’s cerulean cottage on Santa Monica that we featured last week.
Of course, not only are there amazing and adorable homes on the tour, but there’s also an auction party on Friday night at the Dallas Arboretum, a candlelight home tour on Friday, and some really fantastic artists vending at Lindsley Park this weekend for Hollywood Art in The Park. The home tour is slated for Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. and features five gorgeous historic properties.

I love this neighborhood because it’s not about huge homes. There is so much history and charm. I love going with my daughters and showing them why bigger isn’t always better!

Hollywood Height is such a great location…..close to downtown, White Rock, Lakewood, highways, but it’s still a little hidden gem as well (although it’s now becoming more and more popular!).

It’s a quiet and charming neighborhood filled with older homes with character. They haven’t started tearing them down either. You can see the love people have for their homes and pride in ownership.
The area is simply charming and reminds me of the Hillcrest and Heights neighborhoods in Little Rock which hold a special place in my heart.

The eclectic nature of the homes is the draw for me, along with the proximity to the lake and the Lakewood shopping.

I lived a stone’s throw away from Hollywood Heights for 3 years and I absolutely adore the mature trees, quaint homes, and unique charm charm! It’s location is ideal and is a gem in the middle of our busy city!
