First of all, location. This stunning townhome is in a DELICIOUS part of Uptown so walkable that you could actually flip-flop it to Knox Street, the Apple Store, Kate Spade, all the great places we love over there,  right there from this darling townhome. Full disclosure: friends lived next door and loved it. 4321 Travis Walk is a 4368 square foot, three-story townhouse that is so modern and stunning you will gasp because it is loaded to the gills. And you know I am not kidding.

Second, famous owner here: this is the bachelor pad of 21 year old pro golfer Jordan Spieth. Oh, and if you think this is great, wait till you see what he just bought in Bluffview! You know what famous owner means: no expense spared on the interiors.

Thirdly, real estate perfection: walk into this townhome from a courtyard loaded with a firepit and a peaceful fountain that masks any negative noise. (As if any noise in Uptown could be negative.) Walk right into a limestone stone foyer and floors everywhere of rich, dark bamboo. To the left, a huge living room furnished, as you can see, with a pool table. Which is negotiable! Walk to the right, you have the dining room and Bulthaup kitchen which is fully loaded with sleek counters, cabinets, and tip-top level appliances including a wine cooler. I mean, Bulthaup! The garage entrance is in this room, with a close by powder bath. Jordan may be 21 with the best bladder in golfing, but everyone has to hit the potty when coming straight in from the car!

Across from the powder potty is a wall of wine holders, with a cork wall background. Reminds me of the laundry room Carleton Varney did at the Ritz condo bearing his design.

There is a newly added media room and it is huge. The master bedroom/bathroom is a total knock-out with a center tub flanked by two showers, TWO FREAKING SHOWERS! There are his and her sinks on opposite sides, and storage galore. There is a laundry room in the master bath, in a large closet and NOT a stack unit so you can fold on top plus storage (stack units are such wimps)  plus a champagne bar with connection for an icemaker-fridge. Could also be a coffee bar. Or a love bar!

This is no ordinary townhome!

The third floor contains the guest rooms, another laundry room with a sink, media room, a media control room for the media that serves as a computer office behind a closed door, or just a good place to hide and get some work done..

Other is the aforementioned entrance courtyard. Oh and did I tell you there is a central elevator to all floors? So baby boomers with troublesome knees, rejoice! Got you covered. (My husband just had knee surgery and let me tell you, you want an elevator!) This brilliance is listed for only $1,285,000 with the darling Tia Gannon at Rogers Healy & Associates. You know, Rogers — my second son!

Now where did Jordan move? Don’t touch that dial!4321 Travis hot tub

Remind me to abandon my real estate career and become a championship golfer. Bravo to a hometown boy making good!

Kudos to Jordan Spieth, from a fellow golfer I understand the talent and dedication it takes to perfect the game. He makes it look so easy and in my opinion it is one of the hardest games to master, I certainly haven’t! As a Dallas Interior Designer I must say that I am so happy to see Dallas embracing contemporary/modern design, I love it!
