I don’t know if thinking about how big and scary Igor Olshansky looked when he played for the Dallas Cowboys, with those tattoos and all, can make us feel any better about last night’s tragic game. Oh. My. God. 20 to 17 in OVERTIME!
Igor is selling his Irving home in Fairway Vista. Maybe if you buy it, it will bring some magic football fairy dust to the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday.

Chez Olshansky is a lovely custom home built by Michael Counter. There are hardwood floors everywhere, and walls of chipped cut rock from the base of the first floor to the tip top of the tall, soaring second story ceiling. The feel is sleek contemporary, but tasteful. The stunning gourmet kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, a wine refrigerator, pantry — don’t forget, Igor is a big guy, so this pantry has to be large enough to fit his broad shoulders — everything built in and gleaming, plus a huge center island. You can see the TPC golf course right from the back windows. There is a huge pool and spa close by, all landscaped for privacy. And when we say huge, we mean everything in this house has been customized for Igor — all 6’5″, 315 pounds of him.
There is also a third level deck with a fireplace to sit and watch fireworks drizzle down over the golf course.
The home has four bedrooms, four full and one-half baths, both casual and formal rooms in a little over 4500 square feet. The master is pretty big and has a great bath with soaking tub and spa features. The upstairs game room has a full BAR There is also a central vacuum system. Not ostentatious at all for a pro football player, either. Olshansky went on to play for the Miami Dolphins in 2011 after he left the Cowboys, and then had a very bad terrible week in late November of that year. On November 30, 2011, he was waived from the Dolphins due to an injury. Shortly after that — the next day, in fact, he got caught with 19 grams of marijuana in a huge, 280 person sting operation by the Broward Sheriff’s office called Operation Cold Turkey. Poor guy got busted with a calf injury to boot.
Remember when Former Denver Broncos center Tom Nalen Nalen dived at Olshansky’s knees in 2006 while his quarterback was spiking the ball in the waning seconds of a game the Chargers won on Nov. 19, 2006? Olshansky threw two punches at Nalen and was booted from the game, later both players were fined.
Nalen later said it was just payback for Olshansky grabbing Nalen’s facemask the day before. These football players are so darn ROUGH!.
What’s he doing now? Selling a great house in a terrific real estate market with Nancy Ruseell of Ebby Halliday. Oh, treat his mortgage as clear: when Olshansky played for the Cowboys, he came in on an $18 million dollar contract, $8 million guaranteed> Wowsers!

Great article, Candy! A little over 1 million isn’t even outrageous for a house like that. A custom home just for me is an awesome novelty I’d like to be a part of someday!
Big D is still 6-2 and the offense has some of the best talents in the league! All of the late game losses will be forgotten once they get that one late game win later on in the season.
Back to the home though, that bathroom looks incredible. Very modern and comfortable, I really love the style.
In fact, the whole of the site is inspiring in the way like, “you are who you hang with.” Well, I’m first class here at this site! Haha! Keep at it! You have the finest website for Dallas real estate news that I could find in Google; I am impressed!
Thank you we’d love a home inspector on board!
Thanks for coming by, and get in touch with us about being on our team!
This is a fantastic house for a sports fan. Also, I love what they did with that master bath!
